Honey has 2 weeks and 2days to go, she is really big now, and i think there is more than 3 pups in her. She started her wormers at 40 days of pregnancy and she eats them all up with her little bit of wet food.
She is very very clingy to me, which she wasnt the last time she was pregnant, so im wondering why if any one has any ideas please let me know. I think she just wants to be close to me as we are close when she aint pregnant. She has milk well the first lot of milk, and she is getting quite full, so i dont think i will have any problems with her feeding them.
Best wishes

Maybe like humans dogs can feel different with each pregnancy.
Provided she isn't distressed I wouldn't worry.
Have you introduced her to her whelping area yet? She may be more settled there chilling out.
I would say this is completley normal our old girl when she was in season or expecting used to be stuck to me like glue, nothing easy about sharing a toilet with a 50kg bullmastiff trying to squeeze in there as well, or turning around in the kitchen and tripping over them.
Our current girl was always always quiet happy to go do her own thing untill she was pregnant then god help you if she wanted a fuss and you did not give it too her she would try and climb on our laps follow me everywhere again the toilet got cramped, since then (pups 5 months old this weekend) she has turned into a very loving girl who is very vocal when she wants a fuss even more so now she is in season again.
I also have a 5 year old fully grown male who is almost as bad very loving and every evening has to have his cuddle with mummy (me) so i end up on the sofa with 1 male and 2 females (as the younger girl does not like to be left out) all trying to climb up for mummy cuddles, we also have a 5 month old pup that is going the same way. One of these days my oh is going to come home and find me squashed under a pile of bullmastiffs, but i would not want it any other way in my home lol.

That is just like my house. I call it a group hug. As soon as one finds my lap so the others will follow and try and pile on top for poll position.
My bitch who whelped last September will come and find me if she wants a cuddle and miaow like a cat until i sit down with her.
Don't worry too much about the clingy behaviour as she was just the same. To put it bluntly it was like having a ball and chain tied to my leg. Even if she was fast asleep she would leap up and follow me. The only thing i didn't like was her walking up and down the stairs towards the end of her pregnancy so i used to close the door behind me. She had a few wobbly moments which put the wind in my sails.
As Rhodach has pointed out try her in the whelping box with some nice bedding. I used to sit in there with my bitch for hours reading and watching t.v. while she was pregnant it made a world of difference to our relationship and trust.
o yes my girls became very clingy at around 3-4 weeks then it droped abit then from 7weeks i couldnt turn around without nearly falling over them lol because i never heard them following me thay were just there lol ,her milk is in early ive only ever had milk comin 4 days before whelp and 1 girl afew hours before 1st pup was born...all the best not to long now dont forget she could easy go from 56/57 days xx

Hi Well at least i know im not on my own here. I think when you think that your the only one, you seem to think is this natural or is it not. So thank you to all your answers!
By the way Honey is doing great, she is still as big as ever lol, and not long now for her to have the pups. You can see them all moving around and its so exciting. Will let you know more when there is more news on Honey.
