Just wondered where the strangest places are that your dogs choose to sleep? One of my Mali's is currently curled up fast asleep on the coffee table (which is wooden), surely it cant be comfortable!!!

Eddie (full sized Labrador) sleeps on the windowsill!  I don't know how he gets comfy, but it's definitely his favourite place.

my lakeland girl likes to sleep in the kids toy box, my lakeland boy sits on the windowsill at the bottom of the stairs and goes to sleep there with his face pressed against the window, my baby lab sleeps where ever my feet are and my old man JRT likes the comfort of his own bed :)

Our last standard poodle used to sleep on the marble hearth, she'd gently push the candle along (thankfully unlit!) with her shoulder then stretch across it!

LOL Bean sleeps under my son's bed and then pulls the duvet down after him to seal himself in. Very odd behaviour for a welsh--the other two spend their time debating who gets to sleep on which of my feet.

Dolly - Upside down in one of the plastic bed, with the head hanging out and on the floor. Looks incredibly uncomfortable.
Dave - on the front door mat, he can survey the whole house from this vantage point. I often come downstairs to find him covered in letters where the postman's been.
Daisy - wherever I am.

Boscoe sleeps with his body over the door frame of the patio doors and his head hanging off the back step.....looks really uncomfortable ......he simply flops there and sleeps.....unbelievable!

Kai my Bernese if he were to have his way would be to sleep curled up around the base of the downstairs toilet, now what he doesn't seem to understand that since he was about 6 months old he can't actually fit around it, no matter how hard he tries ;-)

Henry always used to sleep on the windowsill. Hetty would rather sleep on my shoulder, but will settle for a lap if I won't let her climb up me!

My Vizsla needs to be surgically removed from my lap at this very moment! :)

My sheltie sleeps half in/ half out of his bed with his back legs fully extended behind him (sometimes in the frogs legs position!)

one has one hind leg on the soft cusion and rest of body and head on hard floor. the other on hard floor completely

Mine often goes to sleep in the shower cubicle. Either that or on the landing with his head and shoulders dangling over.

forgot, during the day one sleeps on stairs with head pressed between the rails

Moose likes to curl up any where even outside on the patio when it is raining or on her back legs at random positions !

Puds like the comfort of a bed or on the grass laid out then Betty is a feet dog either on her side or up side down but if she had her way it would always be a lap !!

Seems that way doesn't it? Dolly came to us at 6 months already named. I'd always wanted a Daisy, and well Dave is just Dave! OH took him off an employee as he was in such a state, 5 months old and unnamed, and on the basis I'd said I wouldn't have a 3rd, he had to name him quickly and get him in the house before I had a chance to really put my foot down.

In my defence I have also been owned by a Zebedee, Wednesday, Jade and Sally - so the D thing is quite recent.

Cooper invariably sleeps on top of Harley. Harley will lie down as normal and Coops then perches himself on top of Harley - legs hanging down either side of H and Cooper's head on top of Harley's :-)

My boy daws sleeps in the armchair but on his side curled round,being a long legged saluki its quite an achievment,all four legs stick out but pressed together.If I tied a ribbon round his legs I would have a bouquet of fluffy paws.
Peg loves her bed,but only sleeps flat on her back,front paws folded on her chest.
