Saw it yesterday at 11am :-)

I was there at one minute past midnight on Friday morning with my daughter and two of her friends (17 year olds). Got home at 4am :-)

The film is quite dark for anyone who is thinking about taking under 12's but it was good. Prefer the books to the films anyway but really disappointed by how short Daniel Radcliffe appears to be :-D ;-)

Know what you mean about Daniel in the clips I've seen he looks much younger than Emma and Rupert

Last Saturday my 15 year old took over the lounge and kitchen.
From 8.30am there were upwards of 16 teenagers in 'fancy dress'.
The aim was to watch the past films back to back in preparation for this new one.
I think I was a very tolerant parent.............She was appreciative and they were all very polite and well behaved.

We shall def be going later this week, my boys and hubby actually don't want to, they have outgrown Harry Potter completely it has taken some real sucking up from me (for a change) for us all to go and see the final one, I was outvoted for 'wait until it's on dvd', but  a sad look and some pleases has done it. (Being a mother teaches you some things learnt that one from the boys. :-D )

So we are going :-) :-) we've always gone every year as a family to see the films, it would be sad not to go and see the final one.

The first two are still my favourite though.

For anyone who hasnt read the books or seen the last film but plans to I wont give anything away, but it was very good, very action packed and I really enjoyed it. The bit I thought I would cry at was kind of skipped over but that's ok cos the thought of blubbing in the cinema never appeals lol.

Daniel Radcliffe is 5'6" so a real shorty but I think he's a lovely person and he always comes across as a genuine guy.

When this one comes out on DVD we're going to have a HP day. :)

The fourth one is my favourite, book and film.

I was amazed by the number of groups of older teenage boys and young men in their 20's there. JK Rowling really did us all a huge favour by introducing boys to books they could enjoy I think. My girls grew up with Harry Potter and the elder one was really at the same stage at school as each of the books as they were published whilst for the younger one it was the films but I read all the books to her until she got to the stage where she could read them herself.

I was accused the other night of hiding my 17 year old's Hogwarts letter (which I assured her I had through jealousy :-) :-) ) . Recently re-read all the books and enjoyed them all over again :-D.

Interestingly that exactly what my son said when I asked if he'd prefer to go with his friends.  He's 16 in 2 weeks but said that it was family tradition and too important to change!!

...my daughter who is in a perpetual grump at the moment just harrumphed but I think she too would agree - if she could only summon the energy to speak :)

We're planning to go on Monday, after the weekend rush.  I might just quickly re read the book before we go...

Going tomorrow evening, can't wait. :) Just re-reading the book  -it's quite amazing really just how MUCH was left out from the first part (so assume the second as well) -but the film was still good and I'm sure the next will be too. :) Re-watched the first part earlier this week.

I've just watched the first film again and thought I might re read all the books.  However I can't find the first two books anywhere in the house and just found out that they aren't on Kindle

...now that really surprised me, and I'm a bit annoyed too as it means I'm either going to have to turn the house upside down or buy them in paper format again :(
