Hi everyone
Wondered if anyone with a toy breed can help. I am about to worm my puppies on Panacur 10%. Feel a bit apprehensive about giving more than is needed as amount is so small. How do you all measure when such a small amount is needed.
Many thanks

Just ask the vet for some syringes -the 1 ml ones you can easily measure even the tiniest amounts in but even the 2.5 ones work fine for my toy pups.

Thanks a lot, have just phoned Vets so will go and pick a couple up. 2 weeks of sleeping with mom and pups seem to have given me a fuzzy head - very obvious now you suggested it. Doh!!!
thanks again.
When i firt did mine, i weighed them all and then asked the vet to work out how much i had to give. I didnt want to risk messing it up. Toy babies are soo teeny

I have a toy breed that often only need 0.02ml at their first worming at 14 days. I buy all my syringes from hyperdrug. It's easy to work out doses from the info on the box of Panacur. Like you, I still buy the 10% as I see no point in using 4 times as much by getting the 2.5%. The less I have to get down them the better! :-)

Thank you all for replying.
Have just been to the Vets to pick up some syringes so will have their first dose all sorted soon.

Hi I use a 1ml syringe also. Then I weigh the pup, so lets say it weighs 100g I then do a little calculation
0.0005x100=0.05 then just load the syringe with 0.05ml of panacur 10% and job done.
