In the past I've got Metacam from one of the canine drug companies on the internet. It's delivered by normal post. Is this the case with Advocate/Advantix or do you have to sign for it?

had 2-3 lots of Advocate from Vet-medic and it just comes with the rest of the normal post.

did you need a vets perscription for advocate?
- By tatty-ead [gb] Date 05.07.11 12:30 UTC
Yes, its a POM but rang VM, paid with card then posted prescription to VM and as soon as they got it they sent Advocate out 1st class. Think it took 3 days from phone call to stuff arriving.
Vet currently charges £5.76 for prescription. - it was £2.50 about 14mths ago.

I wanted to get previcox online as it was much cheaper and my vets quoted £15 for a prescription, and its monthly! It would still have been slightly cheaper but not enough to be worth the effort.

Been loads of previous threads on these charges - some of them are unbelievably high, I have no complaints as mine will write a prescription to include repeats for 6 months if appropriate for the same cost :-D

Yes, prescription needed for Advocate/Advantix. The script charge was £7.65.

Thanks for answering.
