Yesterday, at her first show, my puppy from my imported boy won her class (only 2 there!) and won BPIB. She then went in to the Hound Puppy Group and she won it :) :)  After a very long and hot wait, she was tired out for BPIS but the judge there gave her a second look.

I've only had her a few weeks (complicated story!) and she came into season just a week or so after she arrived, and she hasn't been to any ringcraft classes but she was a little star. I'm so proud of her. It was all a testament to her wonderful temperament.

I heard the puppy group was held up waiting for some puppies that were in the adult group (having gone BOB), so a long day fro puppies.

And one of those puppies - the Pointer - won the Gundog group and then RBIS and on to BPIS.

It was a looong day indeed.

Ah, I'd wondered how far that pup had gone, I was in puppy group with him/her (I forgot to look!) but had to dash off straight after.

I don't know about you but I do think they could have moved some of these later classes inside as there were indoor rings free.  The gundog groups were judged outside at 4ish and it was still so hot, esp for the pups

...it didn't help that I'd dressed for rain either!!
