Hi all,

Having had a breeding mentor (a family friend) in place before we started breeding, I currently have one litter of pups here and a bitch who has been to stud recently these will be the only 2 litters this year (if she is caught), my mentor has been in hospital since 2 days before pups were born and has just told me that she is not going to be able to help me as not well enough so I am now in the lurch. Having not had to look for her as she was a friend who has bred for years I am now unsure how to find a new mentor, any help, tips or advice would be great thanks.

What questions are you asking?

to be honest it's just someone I can ask for advice if I'm concerned about whelping, weaning or health questions such as today discovered all pups have a couple of small brown sores which are dry and aren't inflamed at all I just wanted some advice and ended up ringing the vets which is ok but I'd rather someone I could ask these little questions to put my mind at rest (I'm a worrier). Thanks.
