my girl had her first litter two years ago (5 pups) and she suffered with eclampsia at 10 days, she had her second litter two days ago (2 pups), started her on calcium tablets yesterday and goats milk, she not keen to eat unless i hand feed her, but she seems to be panting alot and worried about eclampsia again, no signs of tremmors or muscle twitching any advice would be helpful!!!!!!!

I know they can pant due to womb contracting back to normal size... Maybe get the vet to have a look at her just incase, as she has had it before. It would do no harm to get her checked and at least it would put your mind at rest. Things like this can be difficult to judge over the internet so better to be safe than sorry

thanks,  just back from vet, blood calcium level was good 7.2, but temp was a little up so given an injection, and will see her tommorrow.......

Id get her on a course of synulox antib's too
