Topic Other Boards / Foo / Apple Mac users: a question

I've just changed from a PC to an iMac and I'm really pleased I did BUT I have a couple of questions that I can't find answers to elsewhere:

1) The menu font sizes are very small.  I can easily make the text on viewed pages bigger but I cannot change the menu text unless I alter the screen resolution.  Is there a small fix I'm missing?

2) I'm very used to organising photo files using a hierarchical system ie My pictures: dog photos: dog shows: WELKS: 2010.  iPhoto has reorganised everything according to dates/events (I think?) and my brain doesn't work quite like that!  What photo management tools do you use?

Many thanks xx

you can rename the events and drag/move the photos into the event you want then, I'm the same in that my folders or events are called dogs/camping2010/picnic or whatever. iphoto still confuses me at times the way it organizes things, I prefer to drop my photos on the desktop organize them as I like there and then import the folders into iphoto and rename the 'event'
not sure about the text size problem

In iphoto you can just drag and drop into albums you create and name down the left side of the page.

Sorry no idea about the font size but you can usually get good answers to Mac questions online from  sites like the Mac users forum, or the help pages on the apple site itself.
