Hi Guys
My friend who has 2 golden retrivers has just been to the vet and they have said that it looks as if Star her 9mth old golden has a detached kidney.
Has anybody else had this in thier dogs if so do you know what causes this and also can a dog live on one kidney like us humans.

As far as I am aware, dogs can live on one kidney just as we can. In fact just the other day, my vet removed a kidney from a dog.
