Thanks :)
It does say the following on the info you provided
4.7 Use during pregnancy, lactation or lay
STRONGHOLD can be used in breeding, pregnant and lactating cats and dogs.
I have also read that it has been tested at 3 times the recomended dose on breeding cats and dogs with no adverse effects . Ive heard lots of people suggest not to use it on a bitch in whelp and wondering if anyone has any first hand experience with it before I go and get some .

I posted a while back about one of the dogs having possible Sarcoptes he had dried skin and hair loss on his ear and small patches on his elbows , he had a skin scrape and it come back negative but Sarcoptes doesnt always show on a skin scrape so didnt rule it out . I treated him with Advocate and malaseb baths , he is doing well itching stopped almost immediately and his ear has cleared up . I treated all other dogs apart from this one with advocate for a preventative (just in case) however now when I look at this girl she has a very small area of dried skin on the margin of her ear (about the size of a grain of rice) and I think it may be starting the same on the other ear . I have washed her ears with malaseb this evening , (didnt want to give her a bath and stress her out) she isnt itching and I cant see any other signs but I dont want to leave it just incase it might also be Sarcoptes .
My options now would be do I treat her with Stronghold ?
Leave her and wait and see , then treat her after the birth but then do I risk further infection to pups ?
Or treat with Arsenicum Alb. & Sulphur 3 0 c a herbal remedy which is what the fox welfare people use to treat foxes with success ?
