So proud of my eldest boy, today he managed a 40 mile walk!
He reports toes that no lomger look human and apart from that he is good.
True to form he was late for the start (it was 4.45am) he ran the first 40 mins catching his group up...less than half of them completed it.

Blimey, 40 miles :eek: what a hero! Yep, bet his feet are throbbing and full of blisters. But what an achievement. :-)

It is an annual charity walk around the coast of the island, not that many have managed it...........
But some do it each year :eek:
He was about 14 hours, many blisters but fine really.
The silly boy having to run to catch up his team was typical of him............
