I have a Kennels and Cattery and large fenced paddock near Penrith Cumbria. I wonder if anyone local is interested in renting time slots for any dog who cannot be let free under normal conditions. I know I would have welcomed this facility before moving here, to let my GSD run free without fear, as he is aggressive with other animals.

I am no use to you as we live at the other end of the country, but I think it's a really good idea. Even if one's dogs are not aggressive, it would be nice to take them out all at once without having to worry about them forming a pack and spooking other dog walkers!

Could I ask what you were thinking of charging in case I ever manage to track down someone similar to yourself, then I would know what to offer them.

What a great idea :-) You might want to post on the Lurcherlink forum as lurcher and greyhound owners would love this opportunity and that forum is mainly north of England based :-)

Yes it works brilliantly there are 3 adults with the dogs they have field and woods and water on site. Any dogs with. issues can be managed in a safe environment which has helped a number of dogs who didn't initially do well with strange doigs. They get about 3 to 4 hours play rest and some training all for 12 pound. My two love it and have really benefited. I couldn't do that number of hours everyday and it means they arnt cooped up in the house on m$y work days

How funny, I'm holidaying near Penrith later in the year! Can you by any chance recommend any good dog walks in the area?

I have been hiring a 4.5 acre securely fenced field in Essex for the past 4 years and its fabulous to be able to let your dog run free with no worry about other dogs or people coming along, you can completely relax while your dog/s have fun.
Nice to hear of someone else doing it somewhere else and a shame not more areas have someone with secure land willing to hire it out.
