My lad is being eye tested tommorow and typically I have just thought about looking for his registration papers. Surprise, surprise I can't find them! Does anyone know if he can be eye tested without them (I have his hip and elbow certs and he is tattooed but nothing else) or how I can go about getting a replacement one. I bred him so am still the breeder and owner, not sure if that makes things anymore difficult or easy? Aargh, he's the only one I can't find!!! Help please!

He can be tested but the results will not go off until you provide the vet with the original papers thus delaying when they appear in the KC records.

Well that's okay I think because I have had a nosey on the kc site which says that I can apply for a duplicate registration certificate so hopefully that will be suffice, albeit with a delay for the "official" stuff to be done! Thanks for replying.

I had to do this fairly recently (long story), the eye vet (Prof Bedford) could not give me any paperwork back on the day but got me to post the reg cert to him together with an SAE and he posted it back to me stamped together with my copy of the test result.
