There are a list of clinics here http://www.staffords.co.uk/eyeclinics.htm showing where to have the tests for PPSC done.

PPSC should be tested for annually as it has a variable age of onset.

For more information, have a read of this

Are the KC refusing to register the litter until the full eye certs are provided?  I thought the KC didn't implement mandatory health testing for registration, that's what we've complained about with the KC for years, that they would register any pedigree dogs, health tested or not.

Apologies if I have misunderstood.

BTW Animal Health Trust are excellent.

they won't register the pups of 'Accredited Breeders' if the health tests are required (rather than advised) under the scheme.

I recently used a dog overseas, had brought in every bit of paper, including importantly eh dogs Optigen prcd-PRA test result (so pups could be registered hereditary clear).

Due to previously having been told that overseas hip and eye test results were not recorded as not UK scheme, I didn't send in copies of OFA Hip results.

Guess what, I had an email from the Accredited breeder section asking for confirmation of the stud dogs hip scoring in order to register the litter.

It was easy enough to find it on the OFA database (from which I had printed off the details for new owners), and point the person at the KC to the information.  Would have been useful if that info had been included under the rules for using an overseas stud dog, but hey, we got there in the end..
