As you may have seen my other post about our new pup Pippa, I am going to train her to recall by whistle.
I've done it before so know how I'm going to do it, I just wondered what everyone opinions are on Acme Whistles? Previous exp, types etc.

Input would be fab! Thanks!

I use acme too but have to say I find them hard to keep in the mouth as I have quite a sore bottom tooth.

You can use any whistle you like, any make, Acme are the most popular.

I have always used the Acme gundog whistles. I have used different pitches for different dogs so I can work more than one at once. They also come in all sorts of colours so you don't get them mixed up.

The whistle is far better than the voice when it comes to masking exasperation--very handy for when Kevin the dog decides he'll come back 'in a minute,' thank you very much :)
