can anyone confirm for me what rights the stud owner has to puppies born to a bitch not owned by themselves? IE can they insist an endorsement isnt to be lifted even if the contract states it will be discussed after relevant health tests for the breed have been carried out?

You dont really have much rights as its not you that owns the bitch or the puppies, what most stud owners do is state in their contract about endorsements and terms on which they can use your boy, you can advise but nothing more.

Not rights, agreements, you tell the bitch owner what you would like and they will either agree or not then it is up to the stud owner if they permit the service or not.
