Its now been 12 weeks and i still havent got my puppys papers,have been in touch with breeder many times and says she will sort it, rang kc but they wouldnt give me any information, she is an accredited breeder advertised on here and with the kc, am really getting fed up now.

As per the KCAB requirements and recommendations;-

*Hand over the dog's registration certificate at time of sale if available, or forward it to the new owner as soon as possible

I would write/email to the KCAB so this can be taken more formally.  12 weeks is unacceptable.

I regularly look at the KC puppy register of my breed to see who has litters and it always makes me cross when KCAB's register their litters so late when the above is a condition of membership.  Another point that should be considered when checking KCAB's.

That is not good enough.  You need to be able to transfer the documents correctly - although I believe if she has the documents she could do this for you.

As previously said, contact the KC - the more people complain the more aware the KC are of bad practices.  If you don't, how are they to know what is going wrong?

I took 2 pups (from different breeders, different litters) who's paper work was not ready, I rang the KC and told the dam and sire's name and they told me if they had got them or not. Maybe worth contacting the KC again.

Have you completed the Kennel Club Accredited breeder Scheme feedback form?  These are to help the KC monitor the scheme.

Did you get the ownership code as well as the registration number? If so you can do the transfer online without the need for the signed reg cert, and you will get your new one sent to you by the KC.
