Does anyone know the best campsite for the Blackpool Champ Show,
preferably with toilets and showers. Thankyou

Sorry no.  Think their charges are extortionate, not all of us want to stay a week some only want to stay a night or two.  Feel that it's time that they did either a full week or per night charge.

THink that there are details in the schedule of local sites.

Most UK Ch show overnight camping charges are extortionate.  I just phoned SKC as I only want one night and told I have to pay for 4 at least.  Who in their right mind think it is logical to pay £40 - £60 for 4 nights when you are only staying one and that charge is for a place on a muddy field with no electric hookups.  Now I just do not bother usually in this country.  Contrast to Europe where I just paid 15 Euro per night including electric hookup and have pre-booked for several other mainland European shows for a similar 10 - 15 Euro per night stay with hookups.

That's very interesting regarding European Shows which i am looking to doing next year,
which countries have you been to? would love to know all about it. Thanks.

It's £30 to stay up to 4 nights at SKC, it's not a muddy field, it's always short cut grass.  I don't think there'll ever be the option to choose up to 7 nights at a set fee or pay one night at a time at any Ch. show.  At WELKS it was £11 for the first two nights and then £10.50 per night thereafter, so if you wanted to stay for the week it was more expensive, you'll never please everyone.

I would imagine you will get the choice of quite a few places in the blackpool area.

WOW and don't forget to do your online entry in time as they say if the date is extended that there will then be a charge of £3.00 per dog!
