anyone know how far the railway station is from coventry town center as need to know as have a disabled person that wants to go by train and would like to walk to town center to see the sights though i would check on hear first to see if it is close to the railway station

Have a look on google maps, it shows you where the railway station is and has a gauge at the bottom so you can assess the distance. Doesn't look too far but it would depend on the disability and how far they can walk.

From the actual train station, it's not that far, approx 350 yrds, BUT the ring road does come between the station and the town center, so a walk will be longer. The center is quite large, so there would be quite a lot of walkin around for a disabled person, IMO I would grab a cab (they're always outside the station) and get dropped off right in the center :-)
