a putter or a leaver?????
myself I am definitely a putter..... for example: do you put your clothes away or (like my husband) leave them where they fall???

I'm a grey area :-P I don't tend to put clothes away or in the to-wash hamper (although I do own one), but I do always put them in one of two spots. In a pile :-P

so if you dont leave them you put them ...your a putter my girl!!!

Im the same as Nikita, I dont always put them away but will either "put" then in a pile or throw them in the direction of the laundry basket ;)
my OH on the other hand is definitely a leaver !!
Erm, I don't want to answer that in case I incriminate myself ;-)
I suppose I tend to be mainly a leaver, but a putter some of the time
Usually a putter! 99 per cent of the time.

Well......I'll give you a guess from Ms. Tidy Freak, 'everything must be in it's place!' ;-)..................Yep! I'm a putter.
Hubby and 1st born are also really tidy and put everything away, second born can be a leaver.

I am definitely a putter but unfortunately I live with 3 leavers and 2 50/50 putter/leavers Drives you made when you are Mrs everything in its place lol
Can I come and join you Carrington :)

Def a putter
Can I come and join you Carrington :-)
:-D :-D I feel for you, it must drive you crazy when your tidy and others aren't. :-(

never a truer word carrington they think I have ocd lol! nope they are the opposite until they cant find something

yes I am like you Carrington ...I know where everything is even to the side of the draw I 'put' it...LOL
Hubby calls me 'Monica' from friends!!!
My son is a putter but that is because of the way he has been brought up ..his dad is a leaver which drives me to distraction... here is our latest eg: he has been building a new lid for the loft .. left the tools he was using on top of a chest of drawers below the loft see...leaver!! tsk...

No sorry, my two were bought up by me like me as putters until they became teens and seemed to love a tidy room. DWe even had due to along story a doctor vist my son at home and was worried because his room at 11 was so tidy it wasnt natural lol . I told him to look at the home that was normal for us. omg the rows in this house that started when they got to about 14 because they refused to see it mattered , finally i am the one who has to accept that either I do it or live their way. dad is the same as them. i say this as I tidy up from having them all around at the weekend

I mostly chuck them on the sofa in the spare room if I'm going to wear them again (jeans etc) or into the laundry basket if not.

A leaver here, all clothers end up on my floor untill im forced to put the clean ones away and put the ones to wash in the hamper.
Definately a putter. A tidy house is a tidy mind !!

I cant bear leaving things lying around... does my brain in... hate ironing but have to do it and put it away. I even put the dogs toys away in thier box at night just before bed ...they are definitely leavers ...LOL
When I cook tea ,I have to wash as I go so that when everyone comes for thier meal, the only dishes out in the kitchen are the plates with the food on,I have to fill the dishwasher and wipe down the worktops before I go to eat my food... if my OH cooks it looks like a bomb has hit it and he uses every dish /pan possible then leaves it all in the sink until he has eaten...I get agitated and end up cleaning up after him ...easier to do it myself! 'do I have a problem' ?? LOL

I wouyld love some of you guys to move in for a bit.
I want to be a tidy person and live in a organised tidy home.
BUT....damned if its all down to me! I will put up with it rahter than do all the stuff that only I appear to see and worry (or not) about.
Karen :)

Sadly a leaver and drives me mad, but hey I live on myown so it's fine to drive myself mad!

ha..ha Karen..sometimes I wish I could just let it go...
My brother is the same as me .... and there children 18 and 22 are like him .... his wife is the total opposite... so he collects her stuff that she leaves lying around and puts it in a bag then when she start looking for her things he gives her the lot...LOL
I am that bad when my OH gets out of bed and goes into the bathroom I have the bed made before he gets back ... sometimes he has been on a night shift and is only nipping for a toilet break!! good job he loves me...ha ha...I just make work for myself.. :)

I did have a friend ( now lives in Australia), she couldn't even visit the bathroom without leaving it looking tidier than when she went in............anyones that is not just her own.
I loved her visiting me.
When I was a child I was the tidy one, so it does bug me a bit.....but as I said, I have learned to leave big time lol.
Karen :)
