Hi guys,

Does anyone use the keep cool coats on there dogs at shows? With my breed they get hot so quickly expecially the blacks and i have been looking around at these coats and i really think they would benefit from them.
I am a bit concerned they leave the coat wet just before they go into the ring?... Even though there crate has the sun sheild etc on it, my black boy still gets very very hot. Unless i find something to keep him cool i dont think i will show him outside this year, i dont like seeing him so hot!! If these coats work, it will be fab they will be able to enjoy there summer walks more rather than staying inside or in the shade all day until night when they can go on a more enjoable walk!

Has anyone had any experiance with these coats?

thanks in advance

Our friend uses one on her brindle bullie and it doesn't get his coat wet and it does seem to keep him cool alternatively to a coat if he is crated we use a cool pad thing at the bottom of the crate, it soaks up loads of water then keeps cool throughout the day without getting the dog wet.

No it doesnt get the coat wet.  i use them on my Gordons and have been known to take it in the ring when it's very hot

I asked about these coats last week - thread here: http://www.champdogsforum.co.uk/cgi-bin/board/topic_show.pl?pid=1237339;hl=#pid1237339

I was very impressed by them, I checked a friends dog after she tipped a bottle of cold water on the coat and her dog was as dry as a bone.  Brilliant !

The customer service for Keep Cool coats is very good too, I've been emailing about sizes and received really quick responses.  I haven't yet ordered but I'm about to...

When I asked about sizes she suggested I give her the full measurements to include collar, chest and waist also.  She then told me the best sizes for my boys - a very helpful lady
