I use bio washing powder and if scuffed a bit of a rub with a plastic scourer does the trick. Ive got 2 dogs 2 cats and 6 adults going through mine

I've started doing a 'double wash' and I have to say, it looks so much cleaner! I first mop over with a bit of bio wash powder in the bucket - then I go over it again using mistral or zoflora.

LOL snap - well sort of. My second wash is with zoflora (smells LOVELY), my first wash is warm soapy water with squirt of fairy and a squirt of bleach.

I always wash a small section (about 1 metre sq) at a time and dry thoroughly, to a) stop the dog/cat from getting any cleaning chemicals on thier feet and b) to stop tiny cat/huge dog prints all over the floor :)

Feels lovely and clean after a double wash :)
.......... then the kids come home, spill fizzy drink without cleaning up properly, walk through fizzy drink and track it all around the house, Buster has a wee outside but pees allover his front paw traking wet widdly mud in all over the clean floor..........:(

I recently got a new mop from waitrose.
I would guess its available most places.
A microfibre pad, just use water ( I still use flash), it is fantastic, you rinse it squeeze it and it has a huge velcro strip that you just place back on the bottom of the mop handle.
I am so pleased easiest mop I have ever come across, dries as quickly as anything too.
