Hi Guys,
just after some advice with exporting frozen semen to Austrailia. I have had a request for semen from our dog to be sent to Austrailia. I have never sent semen abroad and am looking for a good vet or reproduction speacialist who deals with this kind of thing near North Wales or the North West. He has also said he would prefer pellets than straws?? Any help would be greatly appreciated x

No experience of what your trying to do, didnt even know it came in pellets (brings funny pictures to my mind, sperm pellets) but i know keith collects and stores. Hes in Preston.

Thanks Louise its the breeder in Austrailia who has requested pellets and says he would prefer pellets to straws. Thanks for the link will give him a ring x

They are in North Cheshire .They freeze the semen in pellets and I know they have a shipment going to Australia in the next few weeks because my friend has just had her stud dog frozen.Your dog will need some blood tests but they do that for you as well .The paperwork is quite complex and has to be signed off by an official DEFRA vet.
