Does anyone know the name of the person who sells dog treats at shows. I can't remember their name.
- By Merlot [gb] Date 25.04.11 13:25 UTC

Are they national or just one area, do they make dog food as well (burns, JW etc) is it small packets of treats or stuff like pigs ears, roast bones etc?

- By Tricolours [gb] Date 26.04.11 07:42 UTC
Have they got a good reputation?
- By rachelsetters Date 26.04.11 08:11 UTC
I wouldn't use a credit or debit card with them.
- By tina s [gb] Date 26.04.11 08:31 UTC
no they dont have a good reputation i dont think they were at crufts this year because of it
- By cornishmals [gb] Date 26.04.11 08:32 UTC
Just put doggysnackshack in search.I believe there have been various threads about debitcards/'off products'/after sales etc.
- By bestdogs Date 26.04.11 08:54 UTC
I  remember there being some problems with them, however, their online payments are now through Paypal. Only reason I knew of them was because I have been recently looking at their site. Seem to offer a lot of choice.

That doesn't sound good.

So can you suggest anyone else?
- By Sawheaties [gb] Date 26.04.11 10:25 UTC
I agree wholeheartedly with Merlot!!!

What type of treats are you looking for, personally I go for the natural sort.

Natural treats sound interesting please tell me more.

Mine only get Bonio's (A left over from when they were young...1 each at bedtime...) and the twisted fish sticks from Fish4dogs..
Other than that they get home made liver cake, or the occasional left over sausage.
They have 3 buffalo horns lying around that they all chew on regularly..last forever!!!

Sounds interesting, Aileen - where did you get those?
- By Merlot [gb] Date 26.04.11 12:24 UTC
We found the first one just a small piece 4 " x 2" at a craft fayre meant for carving into walking stick handles...they loved it and have regularly chewed on it. The pup has now (After 6 months) got it down to a size I am not happy with (For big mouthed dogs) so OH went trawling on 'tinternet! He found the first (Biggest)whole one and it was £13.00 when it arrived all three wanted it!! so back on't net again and found 2 more, slightly smaller 9" x 4" tapering...like a whole horn! The 2 together were £20.00
They love them and they really are value for money. They are not too hard as to break teeth as in reallity they are just hair..but very very compacted. They do get very tiny bits off but about the size of a 1/4 of a matchstick.
We had a BBQ last night...lots of guests, pup came out with the largest in her mouth and after some hillarity about "Horns" it was suggested the men all had a chew to see if they worked like Rino horn :-P .....
Aileen
PS I am not telling you the result!!!
