Do any of you use them and do you find them effective?

I bought one a few months ago for an 8 year old who sometimes seemes stiff when she gets up. She is definitley much better though I guess you never know if it is something which might have improved anyway. Thinking of getting another for our 12 year old who is slowing down now. HTH

I have used them in the past and strongly feel that they do work.
You only have to take it off the dog for a few days to see how much worse they become without it. My old boy lost his on a walk and we had to wait a few days for the new one to arrive.
Have also used on 2 other dogs and def saw a difference
Alfy worn one, but then he was also on a number of painkillers, Tramadol, Gabapentin and metacam, so hard to say. My mums lab wears it now.
How long to they last and when do they need re newing?
How long to they last and when do they need re newing? I replace the magnets every 2 years just to make sure they are as effective as possible.

I just googled this as I was curious and apparently magnets only lose less than 1% of their magnetism in 10 years so probably no need to renew it in a dogs lifetime.

It definitely made a difference to my older boy, will buy one for my older girl soon. Very good customer service.
I used one on my elderly arthritic collie, she was also on trocoxil, glucosamine and chondroitin, omega 3 fish oils.It could be that she was beyond such help, but I didnt see much,if any, improvement. But,you have to try.

I used the bioflow on my gsd and the results were amazing, since she died in March the collar was inherited by an aging Boxer and again the change in her mobility was easy to see. However this was the Bioflow, I am not sure if the cheaper alternatives will work as well, I suppose it is trial and error to see if ALL magnetic collars work or just the most expensive ones.

We tried a Bioflow for a dog and found it didn't make any difference, also bought my Mother one a few years ago and can honestly say no difference there either.
i tried both on flyss,a cheapo, and the bioflow(one lived in hopes)but i think she was past such help,i wouldnt like to see another dog struggle like she did,yet she seemed happy enough.I think we suffer more, remembering what they were like in their prime.
Yes we use one on a 4 year old BC that had a big op for OCD and he is a lot easier and I have dropped his tablets to 1 from 2 a day and he is still ok with no limp.

Our eldery lab has one, however she also has hydrotherpy, nature diet, also metacam so maybe its the combination of all,I have now been able to take her off metacam as her mobility is now good,
Sheila.
Alfy had Metacam too, so made it hard to tell.
Our lab wears it now, though she doesnt have anything wrong, but it was Alfy's and he was her best friend and it may as well be used.
