Hi all.  Now I know I am probably looking into things far too much but my girl has vomiting up bile twice this morning and she really is not a "sicky" type of dog if you know what I mean.  All my other girls have experienced morning sickness around the usual 2-3 week mark, not usually a few days into it (she was mated on Thursday).  Anyone else had this experience?

Anyone?

My girl was very quiet & a bit sick for a few days after mating, but I think it was the 400 mile car journey. After all that it turned out to be a Phantom :(

Thanks for replying Finlay.  My girl is really relaxed about travelling to be honest.  I'm sure its just coincidence and me being impatient as usual!

I thought it was a coincidence with one of my girls a good few years ago, she vomited the day after the first mating which I thought odd.  Went on to have 4 lovely pups, without any other sickness.

Funny comment, have to respond to!  I had a visiting bitch 2 years ago, and the owners said that she was awful for car sickness, and had been sick driving down country to me.  They were really, really surprised that she wasn't sick going home.  She whelped with no problems.

The same bitch has just been to stay for 3 days for mating. She was very sick on the way down (I know, I washed the towel for them!)

They went back tonight, and I've had a phone call to say that she travellled home with no upset tum at all, and they are taking it as a sign that she's pregnant!  While I think it's total coincidence, it's odd how these bitches keep us on our toes.

I honestly don't think that your girl being sick so soon after mating is any indication (sorry!)

LOL! Am sure you are right, just me looking for anything remotely possible!  I know some of you don't find it hard waiting to find out if your girls' are pregnant but I am naturally impatient and she missed last time so I'm feeling even more so this time!  Thanks for all your responses, just gonna have to wait a few weeks for the "proper" signs!
