Glad to hear she is home with you and doing well. Keep us posted on how she gets on.
Penny my Mum's dachsie couldn't get out of the vet hospital quick enough after her Liver Shunt surgery, I bent down to pick her up to go down the 3 steps but she wouldn't wait and just wanted to get back to the car and home.
> We have her home :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) > > She is doing really well
How fantastic :-D I've only just read this thread and found myself welling up, what an emotional rollercoaster for you :( I'm so pleased you have your girlie home, I wish her a very speedy & full recovey.
Oh bless :) It's amazing how quickly dogs bounce back from quite major surgery! Can you imagine how us humans would be following that type of surgery!
Yes, I think they quite enjoy the spoiling! My other dogs always look on in horror at one of the pack being fed boiled chicken and scrambled eggs. Even worse, when they are chased off the comfiest bed in the house so that dog can get snuggled down with Mum by their side stroking their ears!!
Hi Cani1, been following Ferns story. I am so pleased that she is home and eating well. I always know if there is anything wrong with my dogues becauses not much puts them off their food! You have been really brave and strong and Fern is very lucky to have a mum who loves her so much. She is obviously a fit and strong dogue to undergo what she has had to go through. Fingers crossed now for a good recovery and a long and happy life.
