Hi, we have a pup that shakes intermitently am a little worried about her. Happy and playful during wake times with other pups, also feeding and gaining weight - just got the shakes? Anybody had this before?

Is she cold or freightened?

mine do it when they're dreaming, worried me to death at first.

Argh you might have struck something there. When shes up and about shes full of her self exploring chasing other pups. Gaining weight eating healthy appearence and behavour waggy tail evrynow and again when shes dropping off or is in sleep so maybe thats it.

It i a little odd as everything else including her energy levels say she is well.

We gave her extra top ups from mum after feeding solids so she would get plenty of antibodies just in case she has a bug or something.

Glad to know I'm not on my own.  It ripple all the way down.

Forgot to add, our pups are the same age so could be.

I had a puppy which would shiver after eating (when on solids). I gather it is perfectly normal and will go away as the pup grows. Just make sure when they've eaten that they aren't getting too cold and wet. I used to dry off pups with a warm hand towel and then let them snuggle together to sleep it off.

I think your all right. Shakes very rare now only when they get a little chilly if theyve knocked the water bowly over themselves fooling around :)
