Hi, a few years back my boy was diagnosed with hayfever. He hasnt been too bad for the last two summers,
but the last week has been awful. We were prescribed a hayfever tablet but was told we can buy it over the counter in boots
but i have forgotten which one. There seem to be so many with different ingredients. Anyone have any idea which brand and active ingredient i can give to the dogs please?

Piriton - you need to ask for it at the chemist counter.
(Active ingredient chlorphenamine maleate 4mg).

Morrisons have a very good offer on them atm - but don't tell them its for a dog or they wont sell to you!

MSons own Allergy Relief is exactly same as Piriton and less than half the price.

Piriton is safe for your dog but if you've not given it recently do double check dosage with your vet - just let them know how much your dog weighs.

I buy it online: £9.99 for 500 tablets
