Get some frozen spinach (it comes in small ice cube sized squares), and defrost one every couple of days and mix in his food. (One is enough for a medium, Lab sized dog). Good for coats, skin eyes etc...

I'm not so sure about the flora marg being added.  Salmon oil is very good for coat

I find sardines in oil (olive if you can find it but usually vegetable) fed about 4 times per week does wonders for coats.

Opi has been through this a few times, it seems to come and go.

Raine however has just developed a harsh, dry coat - I put her and several of my others onto Autarky adult not long ago and it's been since then that her coat's changed.

Also I notice that if I feed Soli certain foods, her nice brown coat goes ginger.

Has anything changed in the diet at all?

Yumega should help. It has done wonders for the coats on mine, one of whom has suffered with icthyosis since she was two.

Apart from the ones already mentioned (in particular salmon oil), I also find flax oil very beneficial to their coat.

Same here. My girls coat altered with what I fed her, this sorted it out and Sardines when i can get her to take them.  i mix it in her food and it encourages her to eat it.

When she was a pup, i had her on Eucanuba(sp?) her looked fab.

I'd cut out the flora, I don't think it will do any good for skin/coat.

As well as the other recommendations, cracked linseed is good, just a teaspoon mixed in once or twice a week.

Just an end note, both my two, and quite a few other dogs I help look after, seem to have come through this last winter with scurfy skin and huge amounts of coat which is now dropping out.  I'm not sure if its the hard early winter, followed by severe wet weather, and now suddenly we've had exceptionally warm weather that's prompted this?  But it's definitely worse than previous years for my dogs, so I do wonder if the weather and temperature changes have played their part.

I also find regular swimming ( not bathing ) also helps with the condition of the coat along with using a ferminator. Helps gets rid of the undercoat.

I have three varying types of coats on my Labs , one has a single coat so very easy to maintain the second has a double coat but smoothish all over so harder to keep but the third is a double curly coat and a right royal pain to keep looking half decent ! She always looks like a scruff bag and gets told that on a regular basis !

They also get fed a raw diet and get fish oil tablets

>5 litres of salmon oil

 Are you going to bath him in it? What's its shelf life once opened?

Royal Jelly supplement from Groomers.  A raw egg once or twice a week is good too.

And guessing it's a Pug? When my sister put Betsy (Granville's daughter) onto Royal Canin Pug her coat improved tremendously.

Shelf life of 6 months
