hi there,

i breed small dogs with long white hair, although in puppycut at present never had an issues with tear staining as wash faces everyday.
My bitch has recently had pups and since mid pregnancy has had mild tear staining. It has got a little worse and was wondering what product to use as i normally only use water and cotton wool to clean.
Vet has checked no infection or inflammation. thinks its hormones.

Any tips??? thanks :-)

Someone i know who owns maltese and shih tzu says cornflour dabbed under the eye after youv cleaned it is good for absorbing the moisture, on my spitz i wash with baby shampoo under the eye twice a day and then thourghly dry, but sometimes messing with them can aggravate it and make it worse.
