can you get earphones that mould into your ear when you put them in, i find when walking with the dogs etc and i want to listen to music the earphones that just sit inside your ear hurt or fall out wondering if i can get very soft ones that can mould into your ear .

but i feel stupid going into a shop and asking so thought i would ask on here first to see if you can get them and what they are called so i look as though i know what i am talking aboutwhen i go to get some

Have you tried apple ear phones? I think mine are really comfy.

judgedredd, I have the same problem with earphones, all of them really hurt my ears.
I bought some 'squishy' ones made by JVC (they're called Marshmallows).  They're fab!
Amazon sell them.

Do they stay put ? I have a problem with the ear bit moving and then I can't hear properly and they are difficult to get in the 'right' position :) (Or I just have funny ears :) )

They do seem to, yes.
They're a bit like the earplugs that some industries use.  i.e. they squash really flat and small, and then left in the ear they expand again and mould to your own ear shape.
They work for me anyway :)

For my son, I got him a beanie hat with earphones built in great for winter walking. From "I want one of those" web site.

Thanks - I'll have a look at them :)

I have some sennheiser ones (they vary in price from about £15 to whatever you want to pay!) and the ones I have come with 3 different sizes of ear buds.  I have the X300II I think and they are fab.  They get better after a couple of hours use once they have worn in a bit.  I think I paid about a tenner for mine on special offer from amazon.  I'd love some more expensive ones but the way I chuck them round I can't justify paying a lot for me to damage them.
