How little things please.
The sun is shining, smiling is the order of the day.

Today I have been able to do my vacuuming (not the whole house).
The crutches are ditched and now hopefully the only way is forward :).

:) I'm not sure that I should be congratulating you on being able to do the vacuuming again :) :) :)

I'm glad that you are progressing well, Karen :) :) :) Keep up the good work (on the leg that is, not the vacuuming) :)

Glad all is going well. Don't be tempted to overdo things now...One new thing a day is enough.
I am still strapped up in ridgid plastic splinting!!! Nice purple coulour, but I am improving it is just so restrictive with no right hand...
My hair look like I have been stood on a cliff in a gale...canot use the streightners at all......wild and wooly.
OH has to slice me some bread before he goes to work so I can have a bit of toast for brecky and make a sanwich for lunch...have to trap the bread in a corner to butter it though :-P

poloaussie and Merlot, so glad you are both recovering well and hope the summer weather of the last couple of days (!) inspires you both. Having said that, I will be very worried about you if your next post says you have progressed from vacuuming to ironing!

LOL..............No such likelihood here!
For  me I am now getting a bit grumpy at swelling and pain..................Sort if hoped I could just be up and away again.
Aileen, I hope you keep going well and you get that splint off soon :).

Stuck with my trusty splint for at least 4 weeks day and night then another 4 months at night...Ironing is out though...not really allowed to use the hand at all, the info says No gripping or lifting...
Sorry you have swelling try putting the bottom feet of your bed on a couple of bricks to raise the end ... will help a bit.
