My Maisie has recently been diagnosed with Addisons and is responding excellently to treatment.  We have to go away soon and have no alternative to put her in kennels.  They always go to the same kennel and it is excellent there - they love it.  However she is quite susceptible to stress at the moment and I wondered what people think of those DAP collars - has anybody ever used them?  Would welcome some ideas.

I have a friend who had a Chesapeake male who wore a DAP collar during the shooting season because he was gunshy.  He was their pet and not worked.  It was always noticeable when the collar was due for replacing he became a lot more worried by distant gunshot whilst out on walks.  I would say the collar took his anxiety levels down to the point where he was able to cope well enough to recall to his owner.  Without the DAP collar he was likely to run!

One of those things where it wont hurt Maisie but with luck will help at least a little.  Worth a try I would think :-)
