I am so sorry - I really am. The trouble with this disease is it is often not until it is too late that one actually notices it. Luckily Maisie was in a mild steroid dose for a skin irritation and this is what probably saved her and it wasn't until she actually had a crisis that we actually noticed it ourselves.
She had got a little bit slower and (we thought) lazier but we thought that was just her as she still loved chasing her ball and was lively and friendly when she saw people - no change there. It really was nothing obvious.
I know I don't know you but you are in my thoughts. In my case, as the song says, hindsight is 20/20 vision.
