Hi all.

So, the pups are 3+ weeks now and growing great. The little one is still little but is gaining weight along with the others so I'm not worried. Anyway, my bitch is over licking the smallest pups bum, alls fine with him pooing etc, he had a poo by himself today with mum promptly ate. Started weaning yesterday. She just won't leave him alone, I don't feel I can leave her alone with him.

Any thoughts?

If he isn't sore then it isn't too much.  If you feel he could get sore i would rub some Vaseline around his bum as a barrier.

It does look a bit pinker than the rest. I have no idea why she's doing it so much to just him all of a sudden. I'll try the vaseline. Thanks for you reply. Poor little chap!
