I wonder if anyone can help.  I now have a nine month old springer spaniel bitch.  I have had springers before and also still have a 12 year old male he is neutered.  But this is the first female I have owned. 

Yesterday while out on a walk she constantly wanted to wee - when we got home we noticed there was some blood and thought she must be in season as I understand it is now due anytime from 9 months.  Last night there were a few spots of blood coming from her but today there is nothing.  We havent seen any at all and she was clean overnight. 

Do you think she is coming into season? If so is it normal to have spots of blood one day and not the next?

The symptoms sound like her season.
Often with there 1st season they don't always bleed too much, or it could be she is keeping herself clean.

Yes its quite normal to start and stop for the first few days and then she should start properly and the weeing is all part of it.
