Lorretta Bastin, Runwell Kennels, bit on look east late news, She has lost pet shop licence and been fined - yet again - for selling un-vacinated puppies.

It's never stopped her in the past, I doubt it will stop her in the future. Over the past 20 years the Council have had 100's of complaints but she still carries on trading.

Like I said 'yet again' :-(   what will she rename the place this time

This is the first time that a Magistrate has actually disqualified her for holding a pet shop licence - all be it for 3 years. But I doubt she will ever have it re-instated. The site where she lives is part of a licensed travellers site and there are no business's allowed to trade, the fact that she did was because she was established prior to the site becomming a licensed site.  I think if she was to ask for renewal in 3 years it would be refused.  Not saying she will not try to trade unlicensed together with other family members therefore a close watch will be needed on all of them for any signs of selling puppies.    

Loretta Bastin (Runwell Kennels, Meadow Lane, Runwell, Nr Wickford Essex ) also has not had her dog breeders licence renewed (due for renewal May 2011) she had earlier lost appeal against an enforcement notice for the removal of dog breeding kennels. At last she has no licence permission (pet shop licence) for either buying in and reselling puppies from puppy farms in Ireland and no breeding licence to breed from her own dogs on a commercial scale - will that be the last we hear of her I doubt it nor the other family members involved in the business.
