Hi

Has anyone ever used T-Touch on their dogs?

What did you think - was it beneficial - and what was the reason for having it?

Would be interested in everyone's views - good and bad.

Thanks
Lisa

I know a veterinary nurse who is undergoing training in T Touch and she believes it makes a world of difference to some dogs. She did a demo at our training club but I personally haven't used it but several people I know have and thought it made a difference to their dogs. The coats etc that you can buy for dogs that are very stressed are quite expensive though and only know one person who has bought one - but as she is the vet nurse mentioned previously I expect she would think they were good :-)

We had a demo on a Barking Mad weekend a few years back, it seemed quite good. Our dogs are pretty laid back anyway but the fidgety Yankee certainly seemed nice and calm during it. There were other dogs there who were pretty reactive and their owners were saying how amazing the reaction was, so it's certainly worth a try!

my dogs daughter was trodden on by a judge, and after that became quite nervy about being gone over (I dont know if this was the reason but it co-incided with her backing away from the judge and refusing to be gone over) Her owner contacted a t-touch therapist and had some sessions ( I dont know how many) it obviously worked because last year she won a RCC :)

I bought a thundershirt from TTouch at Crufts and I think it has made a difference to Treacle. She is calmer and very strangely, she often pees in the hall at night as she won't ask out, but she hasn't since she started wearing her thundershirt, except for the one night she didn't have it on. Odd but no other reason for it as far as I can make out.
