Loved her in National Velvet.

Yes, very sad.

She was so beautiful, I'm looking after my 13 year old nephew today and he has no idea who she is, I've just been showing him on the Internet, that is even sadder. :-(

Another one of the greats gone.

I couldn't stand her voice but sad to see her go!

I've just been showing pictures of her to my class of 17 year olds who also had no idea who she was. They vaguely recognised the 'mad old woman pictures' but had no idea that she had been such a beautiful woman in her youth. Sad really.

She was a beautiful woman and a great actress.
She was a stunner at age 17.
I loved her in Cleopatra with Richard Burton.

She will be missed.

Very sad indeed but I had the same with my 24 yr old son. He had never even heard of her :(
