Topic Dog Boards / Feeding / pregnant bitch being fussy

hi there, my bitch is 6 weeks pregnant and has suddenly become fussy with food, she is on RC puppy kibble  and i give her scrambled egg 2-3 a week, she no longer will eat cottage cheese, wet food, or any of her treats, is this ok? she is eating the dry food but taking an age to eat and comes back and forth so having to leave it down for her. she has no obvious morning sickness, just sleeps lots, short walks and generally lazy now.
Anyone suggest anything else i can give her, she is a toy breed.

thanks for reading.

tinned fish?

Sainsbury's do a small tin of pilchards in spring water that will sometimes tempt them.  I have used it on my toy breeds.

keep offering her something off your plate, there might be something she likes and as JeanSW says the fish. Mine loved raw offal of all things.  on it own or mixed in her dry food.

Thank you, will try them, she hates the dancer working, so not giving it with her food trying to disguise it in ham and tuna.

Hi lare73, mine likes a bit of chopped up boiled chicken breast and will usually eat that even if ignoring her usual raw food. Also, if I leave it till about lunchtime, she eats better than either first thing, or around 6 when I would usually feed her.

that was supposed to say 'panacur worming' not not 'dancer working'! not good at typing on my phone :0)

My girl is the same, and she is 6 weeks too...
I think it is the wormer putting her off, will have to try to get some fish to hide it in..
