Came on the news (local) a 20 year old committeed suicide because she had to give up her dog "Rocky" because she was working full time and could not lok after him, So sad I had a tear.

How awful that she could not find a way out

what can anyone say--how terrible that she felt that was her only choice. Isn't there some kind of network somewhere that matches people up to looking after foster pets locally while the owner is in need of help? I would be so glad to help someone in this position and then at least they could have their pet home at night, or weekends even. I think I'd lose my mind unless I had someone to help me in that situation.

The poor girl and how different to the throwaway dog society we seem to live in at times. I hope her and Rocky are reunited in the future.

At the bridge? maybe it can work in the other way? I dont know I think with a dog in your life the emptiness was too much she was living on her own by all accounts.

Poor woman - I hope she finds peace.
