One of my friends' birthday is coming up and I wanted to get him something both original and useful as his Collie bitch is about to have her first litter in a couple of weeks! I wanted to get him a vetbed with a picture of a collie or even a personalised one but it doesn't seem to exist... Any ideas please?? Cheers guys!

Do you know his size? It's possible to get personalised polo shirts with collies on.... also baseball hats etc. Not very original, though. Towels? I think you can get personalised ones with dogs on.... blankets, even?
Sounds like you need a trawl through Ebay, but if you have time & money don't limit yourself to UK Ebay, some of the more original things are in the USA & Europe.

Two giant boxes of washing powder, a kneeling pad, a microwave snuggle pad, a voucher for a good butcher and a bag of puppy toys.

You can get some nice cotton throws/blankets with breeds on which might be a good option for your friend if he's going to be sleeping or dozing near to the pups.

I found a good site by accident recently and bookmarked it for future use.  You can choose almost any breed here to buy personalised gifts for people and dogs :)

Do you know where you can get personalised items where you choose the picture(you send in photo of dog) and they put on item of clothing etc.
Also what about those jackets/fleeces people wear with their affix on them?

You can have a head shot of their dog engraved on a crystal tankard. I had a pair done for my friends 60th of his Champion dog.

I bought some nice hats with breed motif on them from the following link at Christmas found them most helpful as I  wanted a tri collie head  on one and they went to the extra trouble of making one for me

I'm sure there are people that might specialise in dog breeds but otherwise I think you need to look for anyone that does schoolwear and the like.  Monsoon Marketing is a company nr me that have the market for local schools, clubs and societies.  My children have both bought personalised hoodies from there - a short lived craze!

Some photographic places like Jessops, or Asda, Bonusprint etc can also get pics on to t-shirts and you can buy t-shirt transfer paper for your printer to do it at home
