can anyone suggest a book that will show a new poodle owner the cuts for a minature poodle from puppy to adult which is the best book so i can pass  on the details

I like the book by Shirlee Kalstone, poodle clipping and grooming.

Can't think of the name of the old American grooming book of all breeds.  That showed the different clips and explained them in a really easy way.

I've got one that's just called All (87) Breeds of Dog Grooming or something like that, there's different versions with different numbers of all breeds. But it's got 3 or 4 pages of poodle clips, both body and face. Rather wish I had a poodle client so I could play with them!

I can remember when I had 22 Standard Poodles on my books!  I got them down to 2 hours each but still a big job...  :(

Yikes! I've never had a standard poodle enquiry but I wouldn't attempt one by myself, too much risk of it taking all day if the owners hadn't brushed properly. I used to have a lovely little miniature where I used to live, and I once offended a puppy owner of a Toy by contradicting her vet who had told her not to take it to a groomer until it was 6 months old - I feel sorry for whichever groomer had to cope with that mess!
