Have got a couple of tuna steaks and was wondering how to cook them as have never done them before. Easy recipes please to start with :)

You can just grill them plain, but we prefer to pan fry them and then cook them in a tomato and basil sauce :)

Cook it like steak as rare as you dare.

Marinated in a little olive oil, lime juice, coriander and chilli.  Pan fry or grill for 2-3 minutes on one side and the other side for a minute or so.  Lovely with some stir fried veggies.

I wrap mine in tin foil and place in the oven. Splash with olive oil and lots of other bits and pieces like garlic, coriander, lime and ginger.

I do mine oriental style.

Mix up a fair amount of soy sauce, sugar, garlic, chilli, dribble half over the steaks and leave to soak for 5 mins, stick the steaks in the pan and lightly fry for 2-3 mins each side.

Slice the steaks thinly and serve on a bed of stirfried noodles and chinese greens (in a kind of noodle salad) and sprinkle over a few crushed peanuts and the left over dressing. Delish.
