hi i am going to buy a bulldog pup is it best to buy from a self whelping line or does this not matter as long as it is of bulldog breed standard

Would depend on if you are going to breed or not - if you wish to breed I would be looking for a self whelping line but if the dog is to be a family pet and not bred or shown then it would not matter.
