Is there a site i can go to [apart from the official site] to enter the world dog show in paris? As the official site is very complicated and in not very well translated english.
Thanks.
cedia.fr Has an English language option. Ultimately though this is the site you are directed to from the WDS main site anyway for entry.
Has anybody already entered? If so how please, as the website is the most complicated i have ever come across. It says i need to create a user name then doesn't give me anywhere to register, and when i go to prices and purchases (just to have a look) it's all in French.....even thoguh it says it's the English version.
Any info would be very useful.
Thanks.

I sent my husband off to the WDS stand at Crufts to take them to task about the poorly translated entry form -I didn't understand a word of it. Only the woman he got didn't speak a word of English!! Talk about shambles!! Luckily they did have another person who did speak English. I am coming to the conclusion it will be easiest to post the entry form and pay by bank transfer -those details are on the form. I don't know if I even dare to try credit card. When we tried to enter WDS in Sweden it would not accept the fact the dog was registered in my name and the card in my husband's -despite same address and same surname! In the end I gave up and had my mum pay it at the post office in Sweden, but for France I have no convenient relatives over there. ;)
On the home page of cedia.fr click on the english flag. The a banner on the very top says create user id (or similar). Click on that. It brings up a green background box. Put in a username on the first blank section, then your password underneath, then click VALIDATE. THEN you are given a section to modify your details, enter your name address etc. It asks for a house number but you have to fiddle around with this bit, and the postcode to get the UK format in. Once you have registered these, go back to the home page and go to shows - international and get the WDS up and you then fill in your dogs details etc. The English version of cedia only seems to be for the home page!
Yes it is easier to enter via the paper method. Send it signed for though, global priority and ask for receipt of entry that your entry is accepted, not just that they have received it.
I spoke to the WDS people at a show in Belgium, they have several errors on the website, our judges are completely wrong, the print catalogue and cedia is correct but the own WDS site wrong, that was 3 months ago and it has not been corrected!

I also entered using paper form dowloaded from website and paid by credit card. I got proof of postage and have the credit card statement to show payment has been taken. Didn't think the form was too difficult to complete but didn't try the online version.

Managed to do my online entry on Cedia.fr. Once I got 'into' it I found it really easy to do. Hope to meet up with some of the regulars on here on the Friday.

You will be quite a bit further north than me Alison but we will probably meet up at a show sometime when you move over, I will look out for you at the World Show.
