I was just mooching through the results on Fosse (like you do!) and found this:  Foxhounds, only 6 exhibits but all owned/bred/shown by the same woman!

Way to go Mrs 'Dazzleby Foxhounds' :)

...I wonder if this is a regular occurrence in some breeds?

Is it the same lady who had her hounds at discover dogs as the dog was a lovely boy :-)

I knew I was in the wrong breed!! :-p

Also the same lady who's breeding has had 2 different Foxhounds disqualified as per the KC Gazette this month.

Same as Canadian Eskimo Dogs. All either owned or breed by the same breeder. :)

There was three of the Greenland (is that their name?) dogs yesterday!
- By cornishmals [gb] Date 12.03.11 20:36 UTC
It was great to see a lovely Greenland yesterday, that came over from france just for the show.Lovely mannered boy.two were from Seacourt (the late Mrs Parkin) the third an danish import.
All the Canadian Eskimos were either breed by Ann Allen or imported by her.But how lovely it was to see Ann at Crufts yesterday supporting us all, following a devastating Stroke late last year.

I presume they are not the easiest of breeds?

Sorry, i dont know much about showing but have an interest in this breeder....disqualified on what grounds?
- By Dazzleby [gb] Date 13.03.11 16:39 UTC
I was not disqualified from the wins.   I have these hounds in partnership.  The Kennel Club disqualified Mr and Mrs Cowan from the wins at my request.     I do not wish to be associated with Mr and Mrs Cowan or any of their practices whatsoever.  I do not wish my name to be linked with them in any way. I do not endorse any of their methods.

Hello Mrs 'Dazzleby Foxhounds'

Congratulations on your lovely day

(I do hope I haven't caused problems for you by giving you a mention on here - I was rather impressed with your 100% entry and success rate and thought you deserved a 'Hooray' :) )
- By Dazzleby [gb] Date 13.03.11 23:13 UTC
Thank you.  It is just that I do not wish to be linked with afore mentioned !!!

Taking 6 hounds to Cruft's on ones own is a big undertaking, I was pleased with the eventual result.

I might change my name  to Mrs Dazzleby Foxhounds.:-) !!

Love it! Welcome to CD. Maybe I should call myself Miss Foxpath Flatcoated Retrievers... never liked my real name always thought it was boring....

Well done indeed Mrs Dazzleby Foxhounds! :-D I had a hard enough job with one hound and a husband and a daughter(teenage). In fact around 4pm I lost a husband and a dog and became a packhorse!
