Hi all just curious to hear anyones opinion, my bitch was mated day 13 and 15, blood test showed this was the right time, and we had a 30 min tie both times, her mood changed, she went very clingy and i was sure she had caught, went to the vets, day 28 or 30 the vet examined her and said she couldnt feel anything, so gave her a scan and said no nothing there, very dissapointed. but my girls still got all the symptoms, very clingy, sick this morning and very hungry, it will be six weeks this weekend, i have heard that they can still act like this with a phantom, has anyone else experienced this?? thanks

Poor you, that's very disappointing. Some bitches do have all the symptoms when it's just a phantom.  Although I did once have a bitch with a singleton who didn't show until the last few days. (Way back before we had scans!) Also, with a large breed, the pups can often be hiding up under the ribs. Your girl might just still be in whelp so don't write it off just yet. All the best.
